Biography

Gene Gallerano is an Emmy, Grammy, and Peabody Award-winning producer, filmmaker, and actor whose work spans from heart-pounding adventure stories to deeply human character studies. He got his start in Hollywood with a small acting role in Wes Anderson's cult classic Bottle Rocket, and since then his films, both narrative and documentary, have traveled the world, premiering from Anchorage to Berlin. His projects feature a remarkable roster of talent, including Meryl Streep, Natalie Portman, Ethan Hawke, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Peter Sarsgaard, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Denis O'Hare, Olympia Dukakis, Reed Birney, Paul Benjamin, and Lorelei Linklater.
