Biography
Amber Sealey is an award-winning filmmaker and actor who was born in England and raised in New Mexico. Her most recent film, NO LIGHT AND NO LAND ANYWHERE, had its world premiere at the LA Film Festival where it won a Special Jury Award and IndieWire said the film could “further cement Sealey’s reputation as one of the most promising directors of female-driven stories working the U.S. today.” NO LIGHT AND NO LAND ANYWHERE, Executive Produced by Miranda July, went on to receive the Indie Vision Breakthrough Feature Film Award at Twin Cities Film Festival, and will be theatrically released in 2017.
